After downing Festergut for the first time on Wednesday, we impressed ourselves again with downing Rotface tonight. It took us a few attempts, but we got him down and had time to put in an attempt on Valithria Dreamwalker. 
 
 
So now we are trying to decide if we should focus on the Crimson Hall or the Frostwing Halls. Decisions, decisions.

Tonight, we did the spectacular. We finally downed Festergut and are set up to take on Rotface for Friday. But, this wasnt a single mission night. We went in and dispatched all the usual ICC denizens: Marrowgar, Deathwhisper, Gunship, Saurfang. Then we went in and clobbered Festergut with some seriously high DPS and plenty of time on enrage.

Once Festergut was down, we took on the Rotting Frost Giant for the weekly quest inside ICC. That was a fun, but quick battle. Our take for the night was 15 Frost Badges, Lots of awesome loot, Marks for gear upgrades and a lot of camaraderie. Congrats Kinship of Fate.

Kinship of Fate pulled it off again. We're not talking about some simple romp through ICC 25. This time we decided to make it more of a challenge by adding in the new boss in VoA. So, here is how we did it in a single raid run: We down Marrowgar, defeat Deathwhisper, sink the Ship and then decide, "hey, lets go do VoA while its still available for another 15 minutes!" Ummm, ok. Think we can get there, do it, get outta there and come back to down Saurfang before raid time is up? Uh, yaaaa? Because we're KoF! 
 
 
So we ported out of ICC, dispatched Toravon for the first time, then got back to ICC all within about 20 minutes. We spent the last few minutes of our precious raid time downing Saurfang and handing out Marks and such.

Three New ICC-25 Bosses Down!

Wow. What a night! We entered ICC-25 this evening and quickly cleared trash to Marrowgar. Then, with only 24 people, we downed Marrowgar and moved on to Lady Deathwhisper. We grabbed one more Kin member and dropped the Lady on the first try. The Gunship battle proved to be even easier, and we sank that ship faster than Captain Jack Sparrow can say "Black Pearl", savvy? 
So on we sailed! Next, we faced Deathbringer Saurfang. A few attempts brought him down without issue. And we stopped there, since raid time was about up. But what a fun run. On Monday, we'll be working on the Plagueworks bosses: Festergut, Rotface and Putricide.

So tonight, we hit the weekly raid (Razorscale), then ran to ToC and destroyed 25-man in there. We had enough time on hand to jump into ICC 25-man and blast down Marrowgar. It was a wirlwind tour, but we're Kin and always up for the challenge! 
 
 
On Friday, we'll pick up where we left off. Sign up early and often to ensure a spot in the raid. We'll be going after everything else that ICC 25-man can throw at us this week. Get ready for some fun, new encounters!

Kinship was actually able to make it into Icecrown Citadel, this week! After the first week of "Additional Instances Cannot Be Created", we were finally able to break through the barrier into this new dungeon. 
 
 
Trash mobs were interesting and after a bit of a run, we were able to knock down the first boss. Nice progress! Click on the pic for a list of the loot Marrowgar dropped.

Icecrown Citadel...Coming Soon!

It is rumored that IC will be released next week. I hope its true. An endemic lethargy has crept over Kinship and other guilds in World of Warcraft. We've grown weary of the umpteenth Anub kill; Tired of slogging through Ulduar to put in attempts on Yogg; Lazy to working hard for a ToGC kill; The holidays are pulling people away from the game to do real things! How can this be?? Well, I'm hoping Blizzard gives us a reason to fill up our raids again.

So, dust off that keyboard. Polish your monitor. Update your raiding mods. We're going into Icecrown Citadel with a renewed sense of purpose and motivation. Besides, its cold outside and what warms the heart more than being surrounded by your friends while you destroy new content.

Sorry for the delay in getting this news up. We've downed Anub'arak a couple times now. Looks like we can add him to our weekly kill list. We've also downed the updated, new-and-improved version of Onyxia. Perhaps someone can grab a screenshot so I can show her rotting carcass off to all the readers of this website. Great job Kinship. We've all been busy, yet still able to knock out the new stuff Blizzard throws our way!

End Bosses

I'm a little behind on our news here. So many bosses and so much new content being seen, that I can't hardly keep up. But here is a quick update. In Ulduar, we've downed General Vezax and we've been working on Yogg Saron. In ToC, we've been farming all the earlier bosses and are currently working on Anub'arak. 
 
 
Great Job Kinship. We're keeping up with the end game content, even as they give us more to do each week. Most of us have been running Dailies and 10-mans to get more Emblems. And in addition to our 25-man raids, we've also added some off-night 10-man raids so that our members dont have to PuG for that content.
